Ms. Liriano is a member of LeClairRyan’s Commercial Litigation and Technology & Innovations practice groups, focusing on contractual disputes arising in the franchise and hospitality sectors and serving the needs of clients in today’s complex and rapidly changing tech environment.
Ms. Liriano received her Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence and Political Science from Montclair State University, graduating cum laude. She is an alumna of Seton Hall University School of Law where she became the first student to graduate with a concentration in Privacy and Security Law. While in school, Ms. Liriano served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Stella Salas, United State District Judge, District of New Jersey. Ms. Liriano was a Senator in the Student Bar Association, Associate Editor for the Seton Hall Legislative Journal, and Co-President of the Latin American Law Student Association. In addition, she served as the National President for the Hispanic National Bar Association’s (“HNBA”) Law Student Division. In that capacity, she focused on her efforts on creating opportunities for students to thrive in law school and subsequently become successful leaders in the legal profession.
Active in the community, Ms. Liriano currently serves as Deputy Regional President for HNBA Region III (NJ), Chair of the HNBA’s Social Media Committee, and Mentor for the New Jersey Legal & Education Empowerment Project. She also frequently organizes community outreach programs for local soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and children facing special health challenges.
Ms. Liriano’s advice to prospective law students: “Be proactive about your future. It is never too early to start when you know what you want – create an end goal, remain flexible in your approach, and actively seek mentors.”
